Total Board Solutions Ltd (TBS) was formed in 1998 with the aim of providing on site services to companies within the PCB industry.

As well as design work, TBS has also been engaged for onsite support, training and consultancy. A key goal of the company has not been only to provide design services but to also educate the in-house designers through knowledge transfer during consultancy engagements. This particular service has proved useful especially to start-ups where the time pressures of completing designs are huge; in this environment the luxury of climbing the learning curve to becoming experts does not exist. By providing jump-start training in essentials these companies have hit the road running!

Our design competencies span all spectrums of the electronics industry from the design of cost effect single side boards to complex, multi-layer high-speed; from single RF modules to the full riggers of mixed signal hand-set design. We are conversant with the latest manufacturing techniques including micro-via, HDI, exotic materials etc. with our links to fabricators we are well placed to understand the tradeoffs to producing a cost effective reliable design within the design specifications. We receive a large proportion of repeat business. This is important to us as it shows we give a service that makes our cutomers happy. We pride ourselves on maintaining our standing in the industry – regularily attending courses and seminars to stay in-touch with the latest developments. We have also been regularily been asked to present at seminars such as PCIF, ICT and Mentor Graphics user groups.
